2003년에 창설된 윤이상국제음악콩쿠르
윤이상국제음악콩쿠르는 한국 출신의 세계적인 작곡가 윤이상(1917-1995)을 기리고 전 세계의 재능 있는 젊은 음악인을 발굴·육성하고 이를 통해 국제 문화교류에 이바지하기 위해 2003년 시작되었다.
본 콩쿠르는 매년 11월 바이올린·첼로·피아노 부문이 번갈아 개최되며, 올해 바이올린 부문에 이어 2025년 첼로, 2026년 피아노 부문으로 개최될 예정이다.
2021년에 개최된 윤이상국제음악콩쿠르 바이올린 부문의 1위 입상자는 카리사 추(미국)이다.
The ISANGYUN Competition has been presented by the Tongyeong International Music Foundation since 2003. It is held in remembrance of Isang Yun (1917-1995), the renowned Korean composer, by promoting cultural exchanges among nations through music, and by supporting talented young musicians from all over the world.
The Competition is held annually in November, alternating between the disciplines Violin, Cello and Piano. After Violin competition this year, Cello will be held in 2025 and Piano in 2026.
The first prize winner of the last Violin Competition in 2021 was Chiu, karisa (USA).
