Prizes and Benefits
There will be cash-prizes in total of Seventy-two Million (72,000,000) Korean won (about US$72,000).

First Prize : 30,000,000 Won (about US$30,000)
Second Prize  : 20,000,000 Won (about US$20,000)
Third Prize : 10,000,000 Won (about US$10,000)
Fourth Prize : 7,000,000 Won (about US$7,000)
Fifth Prize : 5,000,000 Won (about US$5,000)

* The Jury reserves the right to withhold an award.
* In the case of a tie, the prize money for the prize concerned and that of the next prize in the ranking
  will be added up and equally shared.
* More prizes aside from those above may be provided by various sponsors.
* Taxes will be deducted from the prize money according to Korean tax laws.

Engagements will be arranged for the first prize winner and other prize winners. These may include concerts, recitals, and CD recordings. Major prize winners must perform at Winners' Concert, a day after the award ceremony. The prize winners must perform in Tongyeong International Music Festival in Isang Yun's hometown Tongyeong within the next two years. For such performance, the round-trip airfare as well as the room and board for a maximum of 7 days will be provided from the Secretariat. Except for these, no other fees shall be paid to the performer.

Performance Rights
While the competitors are in Korea, they will be contracted exclusively to the competition. All approaches to the media must be made through and with the approval of the Secretariat, and the competitors will be required to be available for media calls as arranged.

The Secretariat has the right, without payment of fees to the competitors, to:
a) Televise, broadcast, film, record, videotape or photograph all stages of the competition for media or
for any other purpose.
b) Produce and distribute recordings of all the stages of the competition, either in whole or in part,
including the prize winners' concerts, recitals, and CDs offered by the Organizer as part of the prize.
c) Produce and distribute documentary, feature films, or other contents, in any format to convey both
audio and video.
